Sea-Doo Jet Ski Dash Repair service (2010-2018 bosch)

Pre-Inspection:

Each dashboard is factory-sealed and cannot be disassembled without precision cutting. We carefully open the dash to expose the internal components and assess its condition. During the inspection, we check for:

• LCD damage (burnt or faded screen)

• Needle motor & dial condition (for wear or malfunction)

• Physical damage (uv effected cracks, faded parts)

One of the most critical concerns is water ingress. Unfortunately, in approximately 80% of cases, water exposure results in total loss due to the sensitivity of electrical components. If water damage is detected, we will provide a quote based on the severity of the issue.

Repair Process:

1. Initial Testing – The unit is powered on at our test bench to confirm the necessary repairs.

2. Disassembly & Cleaning – The dashboard is carefully stripped down and thoroughly cleaned.

3. Component Replacement:

   • The UV-damaged LCD is removed and replaced.

   • Contact points, dials and needles are cleaned and or replaced as needed

   • Any additional parts requiring replacement (as per the initial quote) are installed.

4. Reassembly & Testing:

   • The LCD is reinstalled, and the unit is reassembled.

   • The back casing and lens are prepared using dielectric grease on the main connector.

   • All seals are cleaned and lubricated.

   • The circuit board is reinstalled and tested again to ensure proper functionality.

Final Sealing & Moisture Removal:

1. Sealing Process:

   • A bonding sealant is applied to the mating surface of the backing housing.

   • The lens is securely clipped into place.

2. Moisture Extraction:

   • The unit is placed in a vacuum chamber for one hour to eliminate any trace of moisture.

   • A PTFE Gore vent sticker (OEM-grade) is applied to allow for proper atmospheric expansion and pressure equalization.

With this meticulous process, we ensure a fully functional, sealed, and reliable dashboard ready for use.
